Borussia Monchengladbach Bayern Munich 0:1 Player Ratings 2025 | Moritz Nicolas shines for MGB

Gladbach went down 1:0 to FC Bayern Munchen over the weekend, and here are the MGB vs FCB player ratings from German newspaper Bild.

It was a great outing for BMG keeper Moritz Nicolas despite the defeat for the home side- he was the highest rated player (1 is the best rating in the German system) on either side.

No Bayern player got that 1 rating, although two others- Olise and Kimmich, came close with a 2 each.

Both Nicolas and Olise were also named in Kicker’s Team of the Week

Bundesliga Table 2024-2025 after Matchday 15 Christmas | German league standings at winter break

Here is the look at the 2024/25 current season Bundesliga table as it stood at the time of the German league’s winter break in December 2024. These are therefore also the Bundesliga standings at Christmas 2024.

The Bundesliga is a 34 game season, but the winter break in the 24/25 season was taken after 15 games (MD15) on 22 December 2024, with the league resuming on 10 January 2025.

Defending champions Bayer Leverkusen were 4 points behind leaders Bayern Munich in the table at Xmas 2024.

Holstein Kiel and Bochum were in the relegation zone in December with Heidenheim in the playoff/relegation spot.
