Here are the Austria v Germany player ratings from Germany’s biggest sports newspaper after Die Mannschaft suffered a shock defeat against Ralf Rangnick’s side.

The only German player to emerge with a modicum of credit from the game was goalkeeper Kevin Trapp (2 player rating), while many German players got a 6 player rating (reserved for the worst players)

On the Austrian soccer side, Sabitzer, Baumgartner and Gregoritsch all got the perfect 1 player rating as did coach Ralf Rangnick.
